Then she finds out the bad news, she has a tumor behind her eyes and in her liver. Miranda and her friends look up the disease and find out that the tumor leads to blindness. There's no cure unless organs can be transplanted and it is not contagious. \ Weird things start to happen. Miranda's parents fight for the very first time. She finds a photo of herself that she doesn't remember. The doctor also says that they found a perfect match, but Miranda didn't think they could get such a perfect match.......unless she has a twin or something. Emma, Miranda's best friend, finds more pictures of Miranda, but she doesn't remember them either. When Miranda is in the hospital for her operation, she hears a cry and follows it. Then, she goes in a room and sees a girl. When the girl turned around, Miranda was looking at a spitting image of herself. When the nurse finds Miranda, they give her a needle and tell her that she was dreaming. But when Miranda gets curious, they finally tell her that the girl was Miranda's duplicate. \ Miranda questions her parents about the photos again. Her dad tells her that the photos were of their first child, Jessica, and that they took her DNA to make Miranda. Miranda wants the doctors to save her and her clone. After the operation everyone is fine and Ariel, that's what Miranda named the her clone, moved in with Miranda and is now Miranda's little sister.
